I am now looking for a new affordable earphone. This earphone will accompany me at the office or at my traveling. The portability is the main purpose and the most important is good sounding earphone. This Sony Ericsson MH1 earphone is my choice to fulfilled all my needs.

Previously I have built many headphone amplifier. The size from portable, medium or fully amplifier case size headphone amplifier. Then what I found that portability is an important factor for building a headphone amplifier. You can find my previous project  here  and  here . This project is about tiny headphone amplifier that will not sacrifice the sound quality.

Dealing with matching input impedance is not an easy job. It is more complex when more one active unit involved in the audio system. Despite many audio builder like me still ignore with it, but the truth is, matching the input impedance between the amplifier and the source will improve overall sound quality.

My order for a pair female CMC RCA has arrived last week. What makes me questioned this RCA is the CMC logo is printed on the body instead on engraved.  This makes me suspicious of the quality of this RCA plug and probably this is a fake CMC.

Finding good quality and affordable RCA plugs are not easy. My experienced search for high quality from a reputable brand will cost much, while non-branded RCA will cost for the quality. This is Amphenol ACPR-SBK for red color and ACPR-SRD for black color. Amphenol itself is an Australia brand with wide-range of connector product. This one is RCA plug, looking good and promising. Let's check it out.

If you are think that OEM car audio is just enough and you are more enjoying listen the music at home rather in car, maybe this upgrade can change the way you think about having good music in car as good as home. Car is the worse place for music. To much noise distorted to the music itself. I used to ignore good music at car. I mostly listen to the radio while driving. Anyway, this upgrade is a start to improve the car audio sound quality. This is only adding tweeter on the pillar of the front door. The goal is to make the sound-stage wider and fuller. The total working hour for this installation is around 2 hour but the result is worth to try.

It is been a while since I bought this kit but I didn't have any plan to build it anyway. This kit is 2 x 15 watt Tripath TA2024 class D amplifier. Especially for this TA2024 is well known for the high quality sound. I have read so many good review about this amplifier and I think, one day I will try it on my audio system. So in this post, I will do some component upgrade. This upgrade is intended to make this amplifier board look better because of the new component that will install on it.
