THE ORRONOCO AUDIO DIY

This car amplifier project is using the old car power amplifier I had. I removed all the amplifier components and leave the power supply section with several components such as input connector and potentiometer in place. I am using this power supply board for my testing purpose. Especially when the new idea comes on myself and it is related to the car audio system. Just like this one, I will build a class D car amplifier based on TPA3118 from Texas Instrument.

It is been a long time since I bought this Vifa TC9-FD18-08  here , it is a 8 ohm driver with almost similar specification as the Vifa TG9 except TG9 is 4 ohm. Theoretically, the higher impedance will make the distortion lower and I wish I could hear cleaner sound with this 8 ohm speakers. So here there are, a pair of TC9 speaker driver ready to replace my current Vifa TG9.

I remember when I was receive my first portable cassette player, it is a bulky player, need four AA batteries to operate and a wired earphones. I was 9 years old at that time and the sound quality is not good but I was very happy at that time. Time goes by, today technology are advance now. All gadget are become wireless. The iPhone 7 is the starter for removing the traditional wired earphone jack. It is likely become a new standard that everyone should have their own Bluetooth earphone.
