I am using the Sony CDX CA900 which have the wired steering control input. The problem is the compatibility issue that only Sony wired remote control can works with this unit. So in this post I will share how to make my car, the OEM Honda remote steering compatible with this unit. You can check the Sony CDX CA900  here .  Inside the OEM wired remote steering is only few series resistors with the switches. The switches will trigger the resistance value to match with the Sony head unit buttons function. Please continue reading for detail.

The OEM head unit always greet me with e njoy Honda . Okay, thank you. So nice to have the head unit that greet me all the time I turn on the key. Personally I love driving this car, but for the OEM audio quality is not. First of all, the OEM head unit has so many source input. It has Radio, CD, AUX in, USB with iPod control. But none of them sound good. I am sure the internal DAC that handling all the stuff is low quality components. It sound bad even my radio  here is sound way better. So, there is no others way than throw this head unit away and put the Sony CDX CA900 on it.

Speaking about car, most of the time I feel annoyed with too many emblems and wording attach on it. This is the stickers or the original emblems that tells about the type of the car.. I keep those emblems attach in my car for a while and I cannot stand it anymore. Removing those emblems safely without any scratch or crack is all I want to do it now.

Kenwood DPX-5030 is good in audio quality and multi media playback. It is even can play cassette which not popular for today standard. But nothing seems enough when others member in my family wants to play music from the iPad. So installing this TP-Link Bluetooth Music Receiver in the car audio will be the answer.

Lately, I am using my wife's car quite often. Today post is an additional information from the installation result of new old stock Kenwood DPX-5030  here  and  here . I am confident to say that the sound quality result are remarkably good for this old head unit.
